FOR THE 14TH TIME, JOEY CHESTNUT WINNS NATHAN'S HOT DOG EATING CONTEST

For the fourteenth time, Joey Chestnut won the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest.

By consuming 76 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes, he smashed his own record.

Since 2007, Chestnut has won the competition each year with the exception of 2015, when he lost to Matt Stonie.

He is regarded as the all-time best competitive eater.

Chestnut practises with hot dogs and buns, stretches his stomach, and goes without food during his training.

Additionally, he consumes a lot of water to make his stomach bigger and stores food in his cheeks using a method known as "chipmunking."

Since 1916, the annual July 4 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest has been conducted.

It is regarded as the Super Bowl of competitive eating and draws a large audience.
